In July 2001, the NCHF held a seminar which aimed to develop a clear picture of our prospects for future supply and identify some practical steps that can be undertaken to realise these supply avenues.

A range of supply options have been developed and trialled or are currently being explored. However administrative and operational arrangements vary from state to state in turn impacting on our capacity to access or expand supply. The seminar provided an opportunity for stakeholders to come together and identify both new supply options and the barriers that might exist to progressing these.

New delivery models – how they work; how they could be maximised; the steps to achieving this; the barriers.

The Forum has prepared a discussion paper that outlines current supply options for the community housing sector and new delivery models. The paper goes on to consider the implications for the sector.
