The Council aims to plant
the Awards firmly in the culture of the community housing
sector, and to celebrate and bring into the public arena
the excellent work that is being undertaken to house
people across the nation. Through showcasing excellence
the public perception of the sector will become informed
and community housing will become a stronger player
in the ongoing development of social housing.
The National Community Housing Forum (NCHF) auspices
the National Awards Council and at the same time acts
as secretariat. The day-to-day management of the Awards,
and activities related to the development of the Awards,
is an NCHF responsibility under the direction of the
National Awards Council.
